How much does a car service cost?
It depends on whether you need an interim or a full service and on your make and model, but a mobile service is typically very competitive with a garage because our overheads are lower. We give you a clear price before any work starts — no surprises.
What's the difference between an interim and a full service?
An interim service (usually every 6 months / 6,000 miles) covers the essentials — oil and filter, and safety checks. A full service (yearly / 12,000 miles) is more thorough, replacing more filters and checking more components. We'll advise which your car is due.
How long does a mobile service take?
Most interim services take around an hour and a full service a little longer, done on your own driveway or at your workplace while you get on with your day.
Do you really come to me?
Yes — we're a mobile mechanic. We come to your home or work with the tools and the common parts, so there's no dropping the car off and no lift home.
Will a mobile service affect my warranty?
No. We service to manufacturer schedules using the correct-spec parts and oils and stamp your service book, so a mobile service keeps your history intact.
